I came to know Jesus at a very young age. As a small child, I remember longing for my friends to know the love of Jesus, as well. I was a freshman at Texas Tech University when I joined Dr. Bill Bright in Moscow, Russia, to help the people of the U.S.S.R. celebrate Easter for the first time openly in over 70 years. I was struck by the reality that people long to know God, even when their search is forbidden by governments and authorities in various lands. Regardless of where you are born, everyone should have the chance to know about Jesus. That became my life’s mission.

I have been on staff with Cru since 1994, serving 17 years in the campus ministry. I was in Russia for 12 of those 17 years. I returned to the USA in 2011 to help launch Cru's City ministry. I began leading in Digital Strategies in 2013, first for our City ministry and then transitioning to Global Digital Strategies in 2018. I accepted the role of Global Vice President for Digital Strategies in 2021.
